Darryl Tonemah, Ph.D.

​Dr. Tonemah (Kiowa/Comanche/Tuscarora) has a Ph.D., in Counseling Psychology and Cultural Studies, a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling and three Bachelors of Science Degrees.  He has sat on numerous state and national boards addressing disparities in education and health care among the Native community including: The Oklahoma Cancer Network, The Cherokee Cancer Coalition, Establishing the Oklahoma Inter-tribal Diabetes Coalition, Establishing the Oklahoma Inter-tribal Cancer Coalition, The United National Inter-tribal Youth Diabetes Initiative, he has served on the ADA Board of Directors, as well as Research Policy Committee, and the Native American Initiatives Committee.  He has done extensive work training hospitals, clinics, Universities, corporations and schools in the U.S. and Canada on Trauma and its relationship to behavior and health. He is the owner of the Tonemah Consulting Group, an organization dedicated to increasing wellness in Native communities. He also owns First Nations Telehealth Solutions, a company dedicated to increasing access to psychological and psychiatric care to Native communities via telemedicine, and is the Owner of Full Circle EAP, a business dedicated providing care to educators and providers in Native Communities.

Steve Sternlof, Ph.D.

Dr. Sternlof is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Florida and also a Licensed Health Service Psychologist in Oklahoma. He has an Interjurisdictional Practice Certificate (IPC) from the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) to practice in PSYPACT states. He has more than twenty years experience conducting psychological testing and evaluations as well as mental health treatment for children, adolescents, adults and families. He earned his doctorate from the University of Oklahoma in Counseling Psychology and completed his clinical internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center working in Pediatrics, Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, and the VA Medical Center.

 

Dr. Sternlof conducts psychological and neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults to assess for a variety of mental health conditions. He serves as an expert evaluator in select Court cases, and conducts fitness for duty evaluations, working with the Department of Defense and the Military Entrance Processing Command. Dr. Sternlof is an appointed member of the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists for Oklahoma, and actively involved on a national level with ASPPB. Dr. Sternlof has extensive experience working in Native communities and tribal health care systems.
